How to Get More Views by Sharing Your Instagram Reels on Facebook

TikTok is a platform for introducing users to brief video content on social media. The fact that it was outlawed in some countries, like India, astounded content producers and made it possible for other social media sites to profit off the popularity of the short-video craze. Reels was launched by Meta to take on TikTok and other similar apps. Meta seized the opportunity.

Users of Instagram were previously limited to creating and sharing reels only within the app. Creators may now cross-post Instagram Reels to Facebook thanks to a new update from Meta, which should help them get in front of more people. Now let’s talk about the details.

Instagram reels can now be shared on Facebook.

The information is confirmed in a tweet from the Instagram Chief, who also discusses the functionality that would enable cross-posting of any reel video from Instagram to Facebook. To use this new function, users must have accounts that are registered on both platforms.

“We are launching a few new Reels features to make it enjoyable and easy for people to find+ share more amusing material,” Mosseri said in a statement. He goes on to describe more capabilities such as “Add Yours’ Stickers,” “IG-to-FB Crossposting,” and “FB Reels Insight.”

This new feature will be useful for you if you’re one of the social media content producers who wants to simultaneously increase your following on Facebook and Instagram. But how can your Instagram Reel be shared on Facebook? The steps are listed below.

Step 1: Open the Instagram app on your phone or tablet.

Step 2: Start your reel’s recording.

Step 3: After the reel has been recorded, tap next.

Step 4: The Share on Facebook option will now appear. Touch it.

Step 5: Choose the appropriate Facebook account to which you should publish the Instagram Reel video.

Step 6: Click on share.

Additionally, you have the option to set up automatic cross-posting of all future Instagram Reels to Facebook. You must manually switch on this function, though. Here is how to go about it.

Step 1: Reopen the Instagram app on your individual devices.

Step 2: Click on your profile.

Step 3: Select “More” from the menu (burger icon or three lines icon).

Step 4: Choose Settings, followed by Account Center.

Step 5: Add the accounts from which you want to cross-post and to which it will be posted by following the instructions on the screen.

Step 6: A button to automatically share the post will appear. Touch it.
